“Shift” …both an invitation and a challenge!

“Shift” … offering us both an invitation and a challenge

Shifting… both an invitation and a challenge
to align with and live with:
our deeper values
our aspirations and inspirations
kindness
compassionate aspirations, thoughts, words and actions
the courage and willingness to stand up, speak out and be heard

Inspired by
many years of collected inspiring and meaningful quotes about benefits of “shifting”

“advice” I received in August 2020 …
amidst the early COVID19 fears and isolation
“advice” that continues to be applicable and insightful today…
indeed!
every day!

Shift… both and invitation and a challenge
opening my mind to other “possible” or “potential” perspectives
awakening the curiosity to explore perspectives that might seem “unfamiliar”
exploring beyond potentially “limiting” ways of thinking
opening, to, exploring and shifting into wider perspectives
awakening energy to initiate possibly “unfamiliar” positive actions
Being willing to … shift

Potentially helpful questions to ask myself…
Exploring possible challenges that might interfere with being able to shift
Finding ways to support oneself in overcoming obstacles or challenges to shifting
Finding ways to support oneself in choosing to be ethically and positively “shifting”

??? … “It’s just a choice away” …???
Yes … BUT!
What I’m finding is that it’s sometimes “hard!” to make “shifts”
Not simply … “just” a “choice” away…

Continuing to be choosing and shifting by using:
flexibility, adaptability and discretion
integrity, courage and discernment
persistence, determination and tenacity

Using all of those deeper values and qualities
in the service of increasing senses of “shifting”

“It’s just a choice away” …
“shifting”
both an invitations and a challenge

Shifting toward a positive focus as we’re living our lives
focusing on living our deeply held values,
focusing on positives as we’re able,
not as “toxic positivity” …
but as a kindhearted, compassionate, wise, ethical “choice”

Maybe … momentarily losing focus of the positives…???
Maybe … momentarily distracted or hijacked by “negatives” ???
Quick! … choosing to shift focus AWAY FROM those “negatives”
And to again shift my focus back TO ethical “positives”
again… and again … and again

Perhaps…
choosing to shift my focus to positives,
choosing to shift perspectives toward deeper, ethical wisdoms …
Both … a choice away…
Both an invitation and a challenge!

as much as possible, as often as possible
