Lovely Little Lila
a lovely little friend,
( our daughter Julie “found” Lila online…
and VERY persistently encouraged and guided us
to go see Lila at an adoption fair )
Lila….adopted by Kathy and Peter on May 9, 2015,
from the wonderful Milo Foundation in Richmond, CA
(Lila was abandoned, so her age is uncertain…she’s estimated to be around 10 months old)

Our little friend started out with the name
“Dahlia”
the name she was given by Milo, the adoption agency
~

After a few days, we changed her name to …
“Lila”

really is a bit suspicious!

Fond memories of our wonderful Sweet Denali….from June, 2013…
Now, we’re happily extending our love, care and attention to….Lila
another amazingly sweet and loving friend!

now THIS is a very good kind of “flu”…..
And…it’s VERY CONTAGIOUS!!!!!

ohhhhhhhhhhhh….nooooooooooooooooo……Kathy bought…..barrettes??????

Lila has taken a bit of unexpected “work”…
our yard is completely fenced in…
but it’s big….with lots of adventure and hiding places…
and Lila has such curiosity!!!!
sooooo….we’ve added LOTS more “short-height” fencing…
(to try to keep closer track of where she is….)
…and more…and more…and more…
whew…lots of work!!!!
ahhhhhh…what people do for the love of a little doggie!

Oh, what a joy Lila is…..
Each and every day….she offers us so much silliness…and “piles of smiles”
