I started singing this 1957 “Chantez” song this past winter as we had moved in with our daughter and her newborn preemie baby for the first 4 months of our grandbaby’s life. We all lived together in their lovely, cozy, small (!!!) cottage. The baby was precious … and she cried sooooo much!

So … each of us did whatever we could to try to soothe her.

My “magic” was to walk her for many, many hours over those many hours, days, weeks and months … and I sang little songs to her, as I walked with her in my arms, to help soothe and offer love to her precious, trusting little spirit.

Appreciating the POSITIVE powers of…”chantez”

So!
Recognizing the many values of …
“singing” to brighten, strengthen, warm and soothe our spirits,
one little “song” at a time
