“Habit stacking”
“… ??? … “
“Well I might as well add this other task into this ‘already existing’ habit stack”
We all have so many differing “stacks” of “habits” that we can add to!

~~~~~~~~~~~
The immense potential benefits
of inserting new “tasks” into an “already existing” “habit stack”
Possible Future Benefits
Potential Future Benefits
~~~~~~~~~~
The wonderful potentials of
habit stacking “tasks” throughout each day
We’re ALSO constantly creating
“stacks” of varying
“habitual” “states of heart and mind”
“habitual reactions” to circumstances around us
We’re continually creating wonderful “habit stacks”
as we are constantly nurturing, creating, developing and living
habitual states of warm-heartedness
habitual states of patience and kindness
habitual states of generosity
habitual states of more insightful awarenesses
But! careful! … caution!
Perhaps, we’ re inadvertently creating patterns of habitual reactivities?
adding to possible habitual stacks of impatience? irritation?
So …
Developing deeper awareness of how this “habit stacking” functions
and learning to and practicing making more positive choices
All these varying “states of heart and mind”
are building within “habit stacks” that we’ve developed over the years
Each personal reaction within any “habit stack”
“emerging” or “arising from” or “as stimulated by”
“stacks” of “habitual tendencies”
“arising” …. “abiding” for awhile … “dispersing”

So many types of “stacks!”

Oddly enough, we’re already engaging in this process all day, every day.
We’re constantly and continually simply inserting steps into blank outline frames
Task ….
subtask … one step …next step … next step … next step …
new subtask … one step …next step … next step
another subtask … one step …next step … next step
So… to practice creating a POSITVE new habit
of consciously inserting a new “task”
into the “frame” of any existing “Habit Stack”
~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~
So many types of “stacks!”
We have so many existing habit stacks that we can add to!
So many possible stacks of different or varying types habits!
So many “potentials” for creating positive new habits!
So many possibilities for inserting new “tasks”
into already existing habit stacks
“habit stacking!”
~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~
building, accessing and actually using
stacks … and stacks … and stacks
of habits!

Note from Kathy: I’ve been learning about, exploring, figuring out, creating these “habit stacking” reminder pages and using these pages of ideas throughout the past 4 months. I find the “habit stacking” ideas intriguing and seem to enjoy engaging with this process of “habit stacking.” (although I’m definitely still in the “learning to use these ideas in daily life stage.” ) I share these “pages” I’ve created in case any of the ideas might be useful to or helpful for anyone else.
