I created the original “doorway” pages in 2009 as an aspiration and affirmation of my intentions about what I create, ways I live my everyday life and, in 2011, what I put onto this “Pocket Perspectives” blog.

I continue to be deeply inspired by my aspirations and intentions for both Pocket Perspectives and the ways I live my “everyday” life.

The past few months have been and continue to be “challenging.” So much has been going on throughout these days, weeks and months that is so contradictory to values in which I deeply believe. And I suppose those challenging ways will continue.

And so I step back and affirm and reaffirm the ways I am determined and committed to continuing to live my life… my continuing vision statement … my sense of values and deeper beliefs… my commitment to trying to live aligned with these deeper values, no matter what is happening… May it be so.

I use that background photos of a window cloud decal hanging on my bedroom window… a faceted, plastic cloud decal representing and continuing to be showing me and “speaking” to me about how I CAN “tip my head” and see different colors coming through that window decal.

And so I can do that same “shifting” of perspectives as I live my everyday life… shifting again and again and again to seeing and be living with positive aspirations and values
