A few words of encouragement that I use with myself
and share with any others
who might, at times, be hesitant to use their voices
In some situations, I’ve tended to be quite “shy”….
and so learning to have the confidence to use my own voice
has been an ongoing process…
When I originally made these pages, (2012)
I focused on the idea
of just going ahead and using one’s voice.
But then I realized that it might be helpful,
at least for some who might be a bit more shy or reticent,
myself included,
to break that goal up and look at a progression…
Starting from
realizing that one might have something to say
that could be of significant value to others
And then,
developing the motivation to “say it”
“to have a voice and to use it”
holding strongly to that intention
taking a chance and start doing that
to keep practicing using that voice
again….and again…and again….
to simply persist and keep trying..
And so,
for each of us to have the courage
to find our own voice
and to use it….
May we all activate
the positive motivations,
strong intentions,
heartfelt courage,
dynamic energy
and
conscientious voices
to speak up and speak out for creating
positive, compassionate and ethical
actions, commitments, policies and changes
in our world right now!
~~~~~
~~~~~~
For each of us to keep in mind how important it is for all of us
to develop heartfelt courage,
to speak up about what’s important,
to take that chance to
“speak up for _________!”
and
“speak out for ________!”
It’s so important for each of us to use our own voice
in support of compassionate, ethical, kindhearted and responsible
actions, interactions, commitments and policies
in “our” world right now!
