Thank you for this gift, Kathy. Amazing that even when I have reached the age where I am in a much better place in several areas of my life, there are others where I still need more belief in myself. This was a gem to read.

Hugmamma offers us all such a lovely gift with those words… such wonderfully encouraging, nurturing and reassuring ideas in there, expressed so sincerely…isn’t “hugmamma” just the perfect name for someone who writes such loving messages? Perhaps if we each started our day reading those words…and believing those words…some morning, we just might wake up and find that natural “belief” there within each one of us.

I absolutely love this! I can relate to the significance of each and every line. I once read a quote that said think carefully about the words you say to your child, as they will become their own inner voice. Imagine if every mother spoke these words to their child so that later we could say them to ourselves. Lovely.

Hi Cat… I love this “poem” too…please remember, hugmamma and I both send these wishes to our own daughters who are in their 20’s… these wishes are just as important to every one of us, each day, as we live our lives. Please be sure to keep each of these encouraging, loving wishes in mind, as you adjust to life in Jamaica… I’ll be reading along with your posts, with interest, warm wishes, encouragement.
