Peter, Paul and Mary had a song with a line in it…. “Weave me tomorrow, out of today”.

I like that idea…

the understanding and acceptance 

that what we choose to do “today”

will affect and influence…

be woven into….

the way our “tomorrows” develop 

and for each of us to try, as much as possible,

to keep this in mind

and to learn to choose carefully with positive intentions.

Maybe,  it’s a bit like knitting a scarf…each stitch develops out of another stitch and another stitch…so to knit carefully and see that all of those carefully formed stitches  (and dropped stitches, too) become a “section” and that each section contributes to the next section and the next section…and for me to realize that I have quite a lot of control over how that scarf progresses…
