Added on another Nurturing Thursday, October 17:
Today, I was showing some of my “suncatchers” to some lovely women who were in my home… several of them only spoke Spanish, and I couldn’t translate the words from English to Spanish. They asked if I make the “suncatchers” with Spanish words on them. Well, I haven’t…but I’d sure LOVE to do that! BUT…. I never learned Spanish) So…thanks to Georgette Sullens, a wonderfully helpful blogger...I now have the translations… below…. Thank you Georgette! 😀

September 12, added several hours later: Ohhhhh…look….. I’ve been trying, for the past month, to figure out how to make spinning mobiles from images and wires…cutting, twisting, curving, measuring, re-cutting… and guess what?… I’m finally figuring it out! I really wanted to see this image from this post hanging from a mobile… so I decided to try to make a simple (??) wire mobile, created several images, with individual words and combined words, printed them on clear film, laminated, cut, assembled, twisted, turned…and I actually got it together! I can’t believe I did it ….and I just hung it outside one of our windows…(hanging from a fishing tackle spinner I found in a marine fishing supply store)….right in front of my computer…a gentle reminder… spinning away…not still at all, but in balanced and graceful motion…Now that’s a nice sense of accomplishment…. I can’t believe I managed to make it…and it “works”…

Oh…we all need this reminder. I noticed the suncatcher of this image on a shelf yesterday…such an important awareness to remind ourselves of.

Laurie, I just added to the bottom of the post… I actually made a mobile… I can’t believe I managed to do that… I’ve been figuring that life is often about “motion”…not just static images (although I do love stillness too) …so now I have motion… 🙂

Beautiful message and lovely spin mobiles. We have one in front of our entrance of a butterfly and gemstones (I think they are gemstones) and it looks pretty.

Ohhh… butterflies and gemstones…what a lovely combination…. and, yes, I finally came up with a mobile that spins… I went for simple, instead of more complicated. (but I’m still plugging away on those other mobiles I’m wanting…I need a wind engineer who can bend metal! : ) )

Love the spinning mobile. A reminder of the energy that comes from being still. There is an energetic awareness that comes to us in stillness, an awakening of our life energy somehow. I can tell I’m tired as my thoughts don’t seem to want to align but I know you’ll know what I am trying to express!

Yes, I know what you’re saying…. it’s perfect! … “the energetic awareness that comes from stillness…the awakened life energy…”… perfect… I didn’t have the words. hmmm???…the awareness of and the living of those qualities… in our thoughts, words and deeds, toward/with ourselves and others… that come from the awakened life energy of that deep and still center…. ah ha!
