Some days, we might feel more “open-hearted”…
warm, loving, loved, connected and full.

Other days we might feel a bit like there are “shutters” over our hearts…
maybe a bit closed, cut off, removed…
possibly a bit worried, concerned or sad
~
but…
through the years,
I’ve notice something…
I’ve noticed…
kindness can help to open the shutters on a heart
~
~
Perhaps there is a shuttered heart?
~
So hard to see out….
so hard to let “light” in
shutters seeming to be firmly in place,
“light” just not seeming to come through
~
~
but then,
perhaps, some kindness is offered…
perhaps, some kindness is received…
~
~
a little bit of kindness
and some more kindness
and some more kindness
slowly, slowly adding strength,
helping to open those shutters
light seeping in
~
~
little…by little…by little…
~
~
opening those shutters…
shrinking their size…
light coming in
~
~
~
~
~
~
kindness…
opening the shutters on our hearts
~
~
May we all offer and receive abundant kindness throughout this day…
kindness…opening the “shutters” on all of our hearts…
“shutters” open, as often as possible,
letting in the glow and “light”…

Great image. I usually have my shutters open but some days they are closed tight. Open is better. Can’t share when they are closed.
