Starbuck, the kitty, has a newish favorite sleeping spot…an empty egg carton…might lead one to wonder about whether a hen can take rebirth as a kitty?…new ways of nesting?…. whatever….she’s a wonderfully precious, loving kitty.
Just for some “size perspective”…..this is not a small kitty….how can she manage to fit into the lid of that egg box?
That first photo is worth it’s weight in gold! Precious – and she doesn’t look squashed in the egg box – in fact, she looks relaxed and very comfortable!
Cats are amazing for contorting their bodies into the weirdest of places, but an egg box takes the biscuit!

She is a funny kitty…I wonder what the appeal of the egg carton is?..especially since she has that other luxury home in the BBandB box?

She is soooo funny…. a terrific cat.
I have to laugh … one of my youngest kitties – is also the largest of them. His name is Tabasco, but he is affectionately nicknamed “Chunky Monkey”. For weeks he managed to wedge himself into a box lid of a canned-vegetable case. I couldn’t move him out of it. He overflowed and looked like Jabba the Hut!! 🙂 Starbucks looks much more comfortable in her spot than Tabasco did in his. He has since found another spot, and finally, I was able to throw away the box lid. Thanks for the chuckle on this cold rainy Monday in Central TX.
Sounds like Nancy’s cat Tigger, Julie’s cat Starbuck and your cat Chunkey Monkey could have their very own photo blog! Hope the weather improved in Texas today…at least there was a chuckle to warm the air? : )
A totally charming kitty you have. Do you think she might want to lay eggs? If this were my Fluffy “nesting” like this, I know she would be telling me to boil some more eggs and share with her!

Isn’t she a wonderful cat?…she’s actually my daughter’s cat. My daughter rescued her last year and they’ve become dear friends. My daughter emails lots of photos to us with very funny kitty stories. : )
