Josh Ritter has a wonderful song called “Light in My Lantern.”  I like to listen to this song   while looking at the attached Lantern Page, and imagine that “lantern”representing my own “guiding light.”

And whatever that lantern may represent

to each one of us,

may we follow that light and progress toward

our goals, intentions and aspirations.

You might want to try listening to this song…it’s  a powerful song. Be sure to listen all the way to the end of the song…the repetition of  “light the way for me” and “hold it high for me”,  near the end, is a bit mesmerizing. If you listen a few times, the song kind of makes it’s way into one’s mind….or at least it does with me.

In case anyone isn’t aware that “young” people are creating some good music, this song might help you see/hear that lots of good music is currently being created.
