living with positive aspirations and intentions,
as much and as often as we’re able
simply offer…..
nurturing and sharing
such an abundance of positive qualities
offering…to ourselves

Thank you…it’s an awareness I’m trying to nurture in myself…and I thought, perhaps, some of the ideas or images might have some value for others too…simply offering… 🙂

You’re welcome… “inspirations” seem to arrive in their own time…and this one had been developing through the past few weeks…and especially the past few days….

Oh, Kathy, I felt such peace reading your words and that of Jampa’s that had to read twice. I am printing it to keep it near me, and read it again whenever I need this reminder to see that there is value in simply offering, and doing the best I can. It reminds of the Dalai lama’s words:
“A mind committed to compassion is like an overflowing reservoir – a constant source of energy, determination and kindness.”

Marie, I had taken part of what Jampa had written a few years ago, (I see that post is from 2011!) in that quote. Here’s the full part of what he had written, when I had written to him that I worry about whether whatever I might “offer” or “share” with others might be positively received. I found it really helpful! https://pocketperspectives.com/2011/06/23/seeking-approval/
That’s a wonderful quote from the Dalai Lama! …really inspiring!
