“Creating Compassionate Cultures” A remarkable website and online program filled with inspiring ideas for nurturing, encouraging and developing a sense of compassion within oneself and among all people.
Their program focuses on encouraging positive qualities in children, but has LOTS of very helpful ideas for the rest of us, too!

Another related, inspiring program, “The Sixteen Guidelines for Life”…also encouraging the development of important life qualities….encouraging knowledge, strength and compassion in how we think, how we act, how we relate and how we find meaning. (I created the bookmark below, as reminder for myself of these 16 particular qualities)

Thank you…
Yes, these ideas are so important. I love the way you phrased your thoughts!
I just linked into your blog and it is wonderful! Here’s a link to that blog, “A Small Act of Kindness Can Bring a Smile on Million Faces,” for other Pocket Perspectives readers. http://smallactofkindness.wordpress.com/

They do look like wonderful programs, Kathy. Thank you for the links. I’m going to go explore. I’m not sure I can sign up for anything right now (life is hectic), but will look into it, and if I can join you, I’ll let you know. 🙂

I just found these websites and all of these materials a few days ago…I”m still checking them all out. Oddly enough, I was at a beautiful retreat center, in the redwoods, for a 5 day workshop this past month, right next door to the lovely little school that created the Creating Compassionate Cultures materials and online program. Maybe I’ll go back and find out more… I’d love to you have your join in…when things settle down for you.
