A favorite painting
I LOVE this painting!
the image speaks with such clarity, inspiration and depth
“Bear Meditation”
by Cathy McClelland, an artist from the Lake Tahoe area…
a perfect image for this time of year
perhaps, whispering a gentle suggestion to us….
respect the wisdom of the seasons…
the wisdoms of ancient cultures,
the wisdom of nature,
follow their rhythms
~ winter ~
enter the quiet,
go gently within,
go deep,
go deeper,
deeply into the quiet

Living aligned with the cycles of the seasons,
the wisdom of nature,
today
entering the deep “wisdom dreams” of winter,
leading to the new life energies of spring and summer

  6. I have a dancing bear banner watching over my kitchen. We’ll have to meet there sometime 🙂 I just comment to Joss that rainbows from a heart crystal danced around my kitchen while making persimmon bars yesterday. The treat is for xmas gift bags.

    • Ooooohhhh… a dancing bear?…special…. And rainbows as you’re cooking persimmon bears…yummmm…just as special! I’ve been watching 3 crystal produced rainbows on special statues and books in the back bedroom…fascinated to watch where the rainbow lights “land” and then move on to…intriguing. Ahhh, some of the quiet and simple pleasures of winter.

  7. Quiet pleasures of winter indeed! Just went out to watch the sun set and moon rise. Everything was sort of persimmon colored!
Gotta comment on “cooking persimmon bears” typo or intentional it sure made me laugh! 😀 Happy Saturday!

I was just talking to someone about this. Our culture is a bit out of sinc..though I love that I’m finding those who are finding the way back. Thanks. These are wonderful.
