today,
it’s given to us,
it’s a gift…
it’s the only gift we have right now…
and the only appropriate response is gratefulness

Some of my very favorite “pages,” on the entire Pocket Perspectives blog… with words from the  inspiring, heart warming video “A Good Day”  (posted below) by Benedictine monk, Brother David Steindl-Rast… part of the wonderful website Gratefulness.org, and also presented within the TED video “Gratitude”  (also posted below)

“I wish that you would open your hearts to all these blessings”

a wish for today…
a wish for every day….
a wish for us all….

Perhaps, pause for  a few minutes?…and offer yourself a gift?
viewing this short, wonderful video
with open and loving eyes, ears, hearts and minds…

I think you’ll find it very special and inspiring!

Today, August 11, was the “first day” of my own life…and I am filled with gratitude for each day that I am alive.  I’m  so incredibly thankful to all who have loved, nurtured and contributed through the years…and hopefully, my love and kindness has been offered and felt by others, too….the bountiful and generous gifts that have been lovingly offered and gratefully received….
