A few days ago, I was reading from the book AnamCara, by John O’Donohue. I came upon a suggestion for a lovely guided meditation, meant to help awaken and nurture a sense of “the wellspring of love within.”

I immediately thought about, and imagined, the gentleness and goodness of the lovely little sacred well and spring we visited in The Burren, in Ireland, a few weeks ago…the spring and well in the photos of this post….the sacred well I had posted about last week. (link: Sacred well, spring and cave )

Oddly enough, that sacred well was in the same area of Ireland where John O’Donohue had lived. I’m guessing that he might have been familiar with that magical spring. And so…a lovely connection between these ideas from Anam Cara and that wonderful little spring and well.

what a beautiful visualization. I can see you drifting off to sleep visualizing the well within you and having pictures of the well in Ireland flowing through your mind and heart. Ah yes, a wellspring of love within…
