We’re having a wonderful start to 2013…simply wonderful! I hope your year is starting well, too? I continue to enjoy reading, studying, reflecting, pondering and “sitting”…and have the “luxury” of more time to do so. (btw…I used that background, rocks at Point Lobos, on the same quote over on Reflections too..)
That is awesome you’re having a wonderful start! My year has had a rough start, what with getting rear-ended on the freeway last Monday and my computer & ipod dying this week, but I enjoyed the first week of class and hope things go smoother from now on! That is great, glad you are still making time for all that 🙂 Have a good rest of your weekend!
Oh no… a cluster of events…that tends to happen at times. They say in groups of 3…so hopefully the “3” are out of the way. Brittany, please take very good care and hopefully there were not injuries? (Some ideas I read about and made into a recent post…coping with/responding to challenges seem to be helping me respond more positively to problems. Dd you see this post? The image is very relaxing, Kathy. Everyday is an opportunity to also be kind to ourselves. My year has also been off to a good start. My nephew’s wife delivered their baby in Thailand 3 days ago and I am now a great aunt. My heart was joyful in thinking the nephew that I taught how to dress himself as a toddler is now a daddy. 🙂
Oh, how wonderful….a new baby! 😀 What joy to all of you! How touching for you to see that transition from baby to little boy to young man to daddy… 😀
And yes…kindness with ourselves is so important. Thank you for adding that.

This is really great. I have recently been contemplating kindness. It seems the least we can do is cultivate a climate of kindness towards others. It’s interesting how often that simplifies things. We can be in situations where there is conflict, but if kindness is still in motion, there is hope for a peaceful resolution. I really like the quote you’ve offered! 🙂
