Friday update on Nali: Nali (our golden retriever, from the “Guess how much we love you” post) is having a 2nd surgery right now, to remove more metal bristles found this morning in her stomach….Nali brings such wonderful warmth, love and appreciation to those around her… Sunday: Nali passed away this afternoon….she was deeply loved and cherished by Peter, Julie, Kathy…and by Jampa too… and by many others as well…. thank you all for your prayers and good wishes for Nali… thank you.

We should never take life for granted. We just don’t know how much time we have. Yesterday I was amazed at the blessings before me, not just the things we take for granted but several small things that just seemed to happen out of nowhere.

Yes, we’ve sure had a lesson in that during the past few days. Even as we worried about losing Nali, there were so many other blessings around us. Aren’t they amazing?
And thank you so much for that lovely creekside photo in your blog…I spent time looking at it today, imagining the peace and tranquility there, while Nali was being operated on for a 2nd time and we were waiting to hear how it went. (updates in the “guess how much we love you” post ) Thank you so much for the blessing of your soothing photo…thank you.
