I enjoyed changing the pronoun from “me” to “Just like him / her / us / them / you.” I came up with some interesting thoughts.

I had thought of changing the phrasing to “Just like yourself, 7 billion of us also wish for________” Another phrasing also occurred to me after your reading your ideas this morning: “Just like 7 billion of us wish for __________ , this person (named) also wishes for _______.” Enjoy!
