A daily reminder “checklist” I just came up with (specific to my own daily life) using these wonderful ideas… in support of creating positive habits through nurturing and developing more conscious ongoing awareness, commitment to and activation of these qualities and ways of living each day…. hopefully taking these positive ideas from an “interesting, theoretical, academic perspective” to a “living these ideas each day” perspective….leading to a richer, more meaningful, engaged sense of well being in our everyday lives!

Wow!!!!Wow!!! Last week, I learned how to ride a motorcycle/dirt bike!!!! Wow!!
That’s me riding that dirt bike!…
I never, ever, ever, ever thought I’d do such a thing!!!

Thanks Debra. This past year, I had a few big losses and small operations, and had a bit of a hard time after those. So…. I started studying books and research about “resilience” and about developing the qualities that have been identified as leading to a steadier sense of “well being.” I studied each of those categories and practiced using those qualities in my everyday life…and then pulled them all together onto some daily checklists and combined them onto those charts. (I put most of what I was learning, creating and using up in the top headline areas: Greenhouse and Seeding the Clouds ) And now…voila…I’ve made a comeback! (but I’m still using the ideas, charts and checklists, to create deeper awareness of and “habits” of those practices)

Hi auntyuta, Thank you…I’ve realized that the sense of well being I sometimes have can be a bit “less than steady” in certain circumstances…so I’m coming up with strategies to “practice” during “easier, smoother” times so that there might be more habitual strategies for supporting a sense of well being during those potentially more challenging times…time will tell!
