Choosing whatever kind of “energy” we’d like to have in this moment…
“energy” we’ve lived with at various times in our lives…
familiar feeling “energy”…
whatever quality of energy might be of benefit right now….
choosing that specific energy…
accessing a “feel” or “sense” of that energy…
plugging into that energy….
“self-generating” the “energy” from within ourselves…
“….choosing…plugging in….connecting….”

We all have multi-outlet power strips in our homes!
Each and every day….we’re plugging into actual, specific outlets,
connecting with the powerful flow of electricity…
charging…recharging…and powering our devices and appliances…

plugging into our own inner power strips…
plugging into our potential positive qualities and positive “energies…”

living life in an energized, positive, meaningful, enjoyable manner

I agree, this Buddhist prayer is a truly beautiful “prayer”. And I think the world needs it today more than ever.
And I always loved the ‘Prayer of Saint Francis”.

Both Shatideva’s Prayer and the Prayer of Saint Francis are so beautifully moving that they practically take my breath away when I read them…yes, the world really, really, really needs the ideas, inspirations and aspirations in both of those prayers, these days…I agree….
