Sometimes, I seem to get a bit stuck in a “rut”….
Choosing the routine…. choosing my “ordinary”
Perhaps NOT expanding or exploring…
NOT trying out new ideas, activities or perspectives
~
Perhaps instead, I might try…
shifting gears,
becoming increasingly curious…
surprising myself…
by NOT choosing my ordinary
~
~
I seem to benefit from continually reminding myself…..
to “surprise myself”
to get out of those repetitive habits or limitations.

There are so many places, activities, classes, people and opportunities
to choose to explore, reach out, expand, experiment…
to consider not choosing
“my ordinary”
~
~
Surprising myself…a bit like my own version of a protein boost
…except…
accessing my own “energy boost”
tapping into
my own positive inspirations, possibilities, motivations, energy, initiative…

Perhaps, there’s someone who might benefit
from a boost of energy, ideas and support?

Tapping into and using positive energies…
Becoming increasingly curious about possibilities and potentials….

Creating new opportunities and perspectives….
Waking up…
Surprising myself….
Surprising ourselves….
by not choosing……. the “ordinary”

Good reminders! “Curiosity” is one of my words for this year, and sometimes I get so stuck in the ordinary rut that I forget about it.

“Curiosity”….what a terrific word to inspire your year! Go, Curiosity! It’s a favorite of mine, too! I’m increasingly realizing that when I live with a wider sense of “curiosity,” that leads to so many varied layers of benefits for me! I’ve been reading a good book, with lots of really interesting perspectives about curiosity: “Curious?” by Todd Kashdan. And of course, “Big Magic” has so many wonderful ideas about curiosity, too! Love Curiosity!

I just realized that I can peruse your blog when I need inspiration as I was away from WP for a while and have not read all your posts. The word “curiosity” is one that gives me a sense of playfulness and more willingness to get out of a rut and do something that is different. I will surprise myself this week. I am curious to see what shows up. 🙂
