Sometimes…it’s best to play…to simply play!
~
Inspired by…
the play of animals…
the play of children…
the play of those around us…
simply…play!
~
~
sometimes, it’s easy to forget how wonderful and important it is to play…to have fun!
simple play!
nothing “fancy”
simple play!
~
There are so many different types of “play” for each one of us…
pausing and reflecting….simply figuring out what’s “play” for each of us?
what’s “fun”…????
and doing more of that! ..more often!
~
~
play…
it’s good for the body…
it’s good for the mind…
it’s good for the heart…
it’s good for the spirit…
And… it’s good for those around us, too!
~
to perhaps shift out of “serious”…
to shift out of “responsibility”
to shift out of “thinking” and “planning”
~
Perhaps???
taking moments…taking hours…
shifting into another “gear”
perhaps…shifting into “play”
~
Sometimes…it’s best to play…to simply play…
~
Perhaps…join me in giving it a try?!?
🙂

A youtube, below, recorded this morning by Explore.org Brooks Falls, Alaska, Live Cam.…of Holly’s amazing little bear cubs….her spring cub and her adopted yearling…playing delightfully together!
I’m so inspired by watching those little cubs…
by watching children…
by watching other people…
to play more often in life…
(the cubs are extra playful around 1:10 and 4:4o into the youtube… what a pair they are!)
(link to stories about how that remarkable and unusual “adoption” happened:

Play – something we don’t do enough of. Even a few moments can completely change the energy in your body, in a room, at a gathering. What a delightful video of the bears playing. They are so big

Most adults have forgotten how to play (if they were allowed to play as children) — and I believe it has added to our internal problems of confusion and chaos! We all need more play in our lives. Thank you for sharing and linking to Nurturing Thursday!

I’m guessing many people don’t get enough opportunity to “play”…some of the many joys of being with animals and children are laughter, lightness, brightness and play! I’m happy to share and link to Nurturing Thursdays! 🙂

It is playing that we learn, everyone knows it, babies and kids learn this way, but we forget very easy the way when we are grown ups.

I agree… entering into a state of mind of “play” is a wonderful, and effective, way to learn…babies, kids and baby animals are such good “teachers” of that! Isn’t it amazing that we forget that???? Play away!!! 🙂
