My mother used to recite this little poem to us, when we were little…
a special sentiment…
encouraging and nurturing kindness, generosity and love,
reminding us to nurture ourselves and others
as we all travel through life together

What a soft, gentle and sensitive spirit your mother. I do like rhymes like these: easy to remember with messages that stay.
btw this reminds me…Random Acts of Kindness Week is coming up soon in Feb, Feb 10-16 to be exact.

You’ve made my day! My grandmother had this poem on a little card she kept in her bedroom. As soon as I saw the words it all came flooding back to me. I think she lived those words! What an example I had in her–she was kind to everyone, and always. ox
