“Far away, there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them,
but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them,
and try to follow them where they lead.”

Louisa  May Alcott

No matter where we might be…no matter what we might be doing… no matter how we might be feeling in any moment… we can always come back to our higher awareness…we can come back to, and rest in, our highest aspirations…whatever those aspirations might be for each one of us…and then, simply try our best to follow where they might lead…in each moment….

  5. I had seen the quote several years ago, out of context. I researched it online, but didn’t find out whether it was from one of her books. I sure do love that quote!

Beautiful, Kathy. 🙂 That quote was one of my favorites when I was struggling with some changes over a decade ago, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I love the image you put with it.

    • thank you… isn’t it remarkable how certain quotes can resonate and offer inspiration and strength? I took the photo several years ago, as I stepped out our family room sliding glass door…the sun was soooooo brilliant, peeking out from behind those clouds! An inspiring sight!
