“smile…”
“Muskaan”
A gentle, lovely song…
a song that feels so encouraging and nurturing,
sung beautifully by Buddhist nun Ani Choying Drolma

Buddhist nun, Ani Choying Drolma…singing “Smile, Muskaan.”

I don’t know what the actual words are… they’re in another language…but the soothing melody…. and the gentle and tender kindness in her eyes, smile, intonations, postures, actions and interactions “speak” so clearly…of gentleness, caring, kindness, generosity, acceptance… all presented with a small, gentle and loving smile on her face… lovely.

I saw this wonderful video on the blog, This Time, This Space, where there are further descriptions about Ani Choying and the Ani Foundation.

Isn’t she so special? And speaking of little smiles… We just flew to Seattle, Julie picked us up at the airport and we’re driving north to take a ferry out to the San Juan islands…. A long weekend together as a family…. A mother’s happy little smile of contentment here in the backseat of j’s car…. Sooooooo happy to be together…. : ).

Hi Marie, I’m happy you enjoyed it. I tried, with no luck, to find the words…but her face and postures sure reflect the gentleness that her singing expresses, too.
