Pocket Perspectives 
This was soothing to read. I now realize that i didn’t know what mindful living is. I signed up for 4 week mindfulness course and it teaches being compassionate and kind with thoughts regarding not only others but with ourselves. Your posts often encourage this .

Marie, I also have challenges with self compassion…and am learning to shift into more of that. I hadn’t thought of this Friday Wishes page in terms of wishing those for myself…good idea…I’ll start using this one…thanks. 🙂
A few posts/ideas in PP that I find helpful as I try to soften up on myself:

AIMS…a CBT kind of sequence I came up with a few years ago: https://pocketperspectives.wordpress.com/thinking-strategies/a-i-m-s-coping-with-feeling-overwhelmed/ (by filling that one in for a week or two, I found out that many of my worries have been mistaken… what a surprise that was!)

Well, actually I see PP has lots and lots tying in with this idea of directing more kindness, acceptance and compassion toward oneself…as does Reflections.
Marie, it sure seems to take awhile to shift, at least for me it seems to… Ahhhh….needing patience, kindness and persistence again …

Marie…. is the night sky clear up there in Oregon? The sky is clear here and the full “super” moon is remarkably clear, bright and big… we just came in from taking a look… wow!!!!! Sooooo bright and clear!
