Siyahamba “We are walking in the light of ________”

~

Perhaps, we are all walking in some kind of “light,”
each of us with a different way of describing that “light”
walking, living, expressing, sharing, contributing
“walking in the light of ______”

we are walking in the light of....possibilities

~
I saw this video on Espirationsal’s blog,
a wonderful video of an inspirational song,
sometimes sung in the Zulu language,
being sung by people in churches in different parts of the world
“Siyahamba”
“We are walking in the light of God”

~

Perhaps for many,
the light  is “God”
For many others,
it might be “compassion” or “love” or “beauty” or “Buddha nature”
but still walking steadily, living with and inspired by…
whatever each of our lights might be.

I love looking at the people singing in this video…
the warm, clear, calm, steady facial expressions
very special

~
I like singing along, using the Zulu words…
So the words for that…

we are walking zulu words

~
Walking through life, inspired by so many possible lights,
just a few of the variations…..all very special

we are walking in the light of so many possible lights

~
so many possible lights

we are walking in the light of so many possible lights

~
“walking in the light of __________”

    • It’s a wonderful song…I hadn’t heard it before today and was so touched by it. I also love the calm, clear, steady expressions on the faces of the people singing in the video…I was really moved both by the song and by watching them sing. How special that you sing this song in your own parish…I can understand why you “love it!” Happy you enjoyed the ideas in the song and post. 😀
