There are many things we make haste for during an average day – appointments, meetings, schedules. But maybe at the top of that list should be, as Henri Amiel says, to make haste to be kind.

yes, we can choose when to make haste…and being kind might be the most precious and important…as you say…at the top of the list. One never knows…
My husband Peter went for a golf trip to “your” state of Oregon for 2 nights…at Bandon Dunes, what a lovely spot…he just emailed photos…wow! Oregon is such a beautiful place…with so many nice people.

Oddly enough, several hours after posting this, I got a call from my husband, who was in Oregon, (gets home later tonight) that his brother died in Colorado… not unexpected, but still a shock. Isn’t that something that I had posted this image/quote that morning, without that awareness. A poignant thought.
