Continuing to think about that idea of
“being the hammer, not the nail…”
the idea from yesterdays’ post,
“Perhaps, be the hammer, not the nail”
What might go into “being” a hammer?….
What options and choices might there be?
What size “hammer” is appropriate or needed in a situation?
How to choose an appropriately sized “hammer?”
The importance of NOT using a large hammer for a little job.
What positive motivations might be underlying that idea?
Just how MIGHT I go about becoming more of a “hammer” in positive ways,
ways that enrich both my life and the lives of others?

And here are a few ideas…a work in progress

I have always been a nail, but now that I’m retired I’m hoping to become more of a hammer.

I have a similar adjusting/shifting here..it’s a change to not be just automatically “doing” a job and having to initiate instead…I guess that’s part of our “new jobs” : )

I like that this is a work in progress. It means you can be the hammer without getting stuck on the nail. 🙂

I’m going to add some more images with various size hammers, nails, screw drivers, screws, glue, string…versatility in choices, uses and option.
I’m also going to make a new image/post with being both the potter and the clay…that’s more my style…flexibility, molding, shaping etc
