Isn’t that a wonderful “context” for living one’s life?
The full post that Eric wrote contain more context for that quote…he really can express his ideas well. I’m a bit like a raccoon…very curious, so seem to find lots of interesting ideas written by others. I linked Janet to several in another post…I’ll link you later to those…gotta go out now.

Hi Marie, I googled the phrase last night and see that there is a source for it…perhaps I can add it to that photo….I was also thinking of changing the fonts to large for “go” and “grow”….and I might change it to “don’t just go through life, grow though life”….that idea really adds an important context to how we live. I’ve noticed that people don’t click on links or videos here at PP too… that’s why I sometimes will do a copy/paste of what I consider insightful words and put them on a background…people seem to pause a bit for those. I’m going out for the day so can add the source later….

Well, the way I’m starting to “see” things, if by a certain point, one doesn’t transform life’s experiences into wisdom….well…it could be a slippery downhill slope….and so, developing “wisdom” it is….as much as we’re able…

Kathy, My beautiful page in facebook was disabled by Facebook management because I didn’t add my full name and date of birth. Wish they had warned me first as I have over 2,000 fans and worked hard on the page to bring inspiration. However, this is a wonderful lesson on attachment for me and on balance, and I think I passed the test as I am pretty calm, just doing what needs to be done to reinstate my account.

Hi Marie, I added an image (at the top ) that has the name of the person who said it…Eric Butterworth, a minister in the Unity Church. I was just reading about him…sounds like an very special man who had deep sense of purpose in his life. Maya Angelou referred to him as her “teacher”…she was quoted as saying, “He has been, is now and shall forever be my teacher” …wow! http://ericbutterworth.org/html/eric_bio.html And this is special too http://ericbutterworth.org/html/gift.html

Did you see in the comment to Marie that the quote was originally from Eric Butterworth, someone Maya Angelou considered her “teacher”…wow..he really must have been quite a person with remarkable insight!
