    Funny timing for this blog. I was sitting on the sofa this morning playing online games when I realized that I could be doing so much more–like reading a book! I’m going to do what I’ve done for the past two decades: make a list of things I want to accomplish. And if someone has a better idea, I’ll just push them down on the list.

      For me, I think there might be a transition/learning period of time… I am…. whoops…was…a list person at school/work…but less so recently at home…now I’m going to try to awaken those strengths at home…I really want to develop/nurture them so that I can use this precious time well…that’s why I made these pages and slide show…to remind myself…and hopefully inspire myself… to nurture the ideas on those pages… That being said, I’m giving myself some quiet time before I make plans or jump into new or ambitious endeavors… (but if an offer arrives to go to Nepal to set up some school programs, I’d probably jump at it…. 🙄 )

      thanks…it’s so easy to sometimes get lost in mind chatter and miss the wonderful aspects of each moment. (your canoeing trip yesterday was jam packed with those magical moments of “now”….what a trip and post…wonderful photos and insightful, metaphorical life observations! )
