“A bird does not sing because it has an answer…it sings because it has a song…” learning to sing our songs

I saw the following quote on The Incredible Lightness of Seeing….a wonderful photo blog

~

~

Isn’t that a wonderful reminder?

And…a slight variation on the words of  a song from the 1970’s….
a song that was sung on Sesame Street
and then became a hit performed by several other groups…

~

~

And so…
may we all sing our songs…
joyfully,
happily
with confidence
and the clear awareness
that each song IS good enough
and so important for others to hear

Just sing
sing our songs

I love to make my own kind of music . . . even if nobody else sings along! 😀

Yes, to expressing our inner music! I sometimes serenade my significant other, even if I can’t sing, and he loves it. LOL. He loves it because he says that he likes to see me happy. 🙂 I love that quote by the way.

  4. I like singing my own “songs,” even if I’m the only one who’s listening. Thanks for the ping, Kath.

  5. Often, I seem to be the only one listening to my own songs…. 🙄 …. but still recognize the importance of “singing” away anyways….
