thank you….
Ohhh….you made someone cry???….you’re too good a teacher!….well, hopefully they went out and did something kind for the earth after that! : )
good idea…if kids and adults would keep in mind, or become aware of, how fragile the balance of the earth’s systems are, then we might become more prudent and careful….
I do hope things are changing….
and Joss….your poem today…Mother Earth…it’s so beautiful….soooooooo beautiful….I haven’t commented yet because I was just so filled with the beauty of it that I couldn’t think of what to say…no words….just filled with the beauty of your words…. http://crowingcrone.wordpress.com/2012/04/22/mother-earth/
I am so pleased to say that I and my husband and my children and their children all do everything we can to protect our earth and practice good stewardhip of all Her resources! I have shared on my FB timeline, asking that all friends and family would practice good stewardhip of the earth all year.
It’s so special and so important when an extended family has a commitment like yours …I’m guessing they’re following the lead of a strong and caring mama bear, which is probably….. you…. : )
thanks, Nancy…And it sounds like you’ve been doing good, thorough research about feline diabetes…hopefully you’ll soon be seeing some positive changes in Tigger….. the sooner, the better….
One of the things I like most about teaching the youngest of our learners is the fact that I can help instill the value of talking care of our environment. I call it the science of human nature. We can all make a difference.

Good message, Kathy. One Earth Day lesson I made someone cry–I think I was too emphatic about being kind to the Earth! Love the hand images.

we owe so much to our planet and we take her so much for granted. I do think things are changing for the better though.
