Sharing one’s heart with the world

A few months ago, when I had just started making this blog, I received  a lovely email from a woman who expressed these words of appreciation for something  I had written. At that point, I was still extremely unsure about showing my ideas and creations to others…and I was so moved by her kind and encouraging comment.  I still am very shy about showing my “creations” to the world, but her words have helped give me the courage to continue to put my ideas out to others, to be freely and happily shared.

And so to the many billions of  kind and loving people in the world,

who offer so much love, support and encouragement  to each other….

I pass her blessing along to all of you,

adding my own sincere and heartfelt thanks…

Note: That lovely encouragement came from Selah Gay, an artist with a beautiful website. She also has a short  blog, with wonderfully expressed ideas.

Today’s  daily thought from DailyDalaiLama.com  is very special:

I have found that the greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion. The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warm-hearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It is the ultimate source of success in life.
